ISEN 361 Engineering Economy and Cost Analysis

Undergraduate course, NC A&T, Fall 2023, 2024, 2025

This course introduces the concept of time value of money, cash flows, and the methods of evaluating alternatives based on present worth, annual worth, rate of return, payback period and cost benefit analysis. The course also introduces breakeven analysis, replacement analysis, depreciation methods and the effect of income on taxes and inflation on economy studies.

ISEN 841 Integer and Network Optimization

Graduate course, NC A&T, Fall, 2025

This course addresses formulation and solution techniques for linear and integer programming problems, and network optimization problems. Topics covered include integer programming models, branch and bound methods, cutting plane methods, transportation, assignment and transshipment problems, and network flow problems such as shortest-path, maximum-flow, and minimum spanning tree.

ISEN 852 Integrated Product and Process Design

Graduate course, NC A&T, Spring 2024, 2025

This course provides an integrated approach to the design and manufacture of a new product. Topics include product requirements, concept generation and selection, design, product optimization, tolerances, prototype development, design for manufacturability and assembly (DFMA), process optimization, and quality function deployment (QFD). Design projects and real-world case studies are included.
